I know. I'm asking if he confused Lehtera with Lindstrom because we have no news of Lehtera leaving but we know Lind is gone.

I don't know that I will miss Lehtera unless he can last the whole schedule...he did not maintain his level of play over 82 games.

Pretty sure the poster meant Lindstrom, not Lehtera. Playoff production disappointment aside, I'm not too concerned at this point with his lack of production in the 2nd half and playoffs. It's common with the jump from KHL to NHL. The same thing happened to Tarasenko his 1st year. They asked for a commitment to conditioning and he responded in a big way. Hopefully Lehtera will do the same.

I see a number of scenarios calling for new players. While I'd love to see guys like RNH, Eberle, Malkin, Wingels, Burns, etc., I don't get a warm fuzzy with that route. We have to clear a lot of cap space to sign Tarasenko etc., plus Stillman spent to the cap and was not rewarded with the expected deep playoff run to balance the books a little closer.

I'd like to see them package a deal to get back in the 2015 first round. It's the deepest draft in over a decade, and would clear necessary salary to take care of our own signings, while easing some burden on Stillman.

Some medium to high dollar contracts have to go. Berglund Oshie Gunnarson at the top of the list.

Those are really good points and I would be okay with getting a 1st round pick out of trading a package centered around someone like Oshie.

Well hopefully Missouri becomes a bit more progressive in 15-16 so the Blues can legally hire some of those top notch dope doctors

I'm not sure any state is going to legalize coke/molly/HGH/roids. Let's just say that the NHL's drug testing policy is a complete and utter joke.

I'm almost sad about this fact. It happens every spring.

I'm prolly more excited about the coming moves than the prospect of Blues playoff hockey.

Disappointment? 80% of our current roster is a disappointment. We don't need him to be the regular season Justin Williams...we just need him to be the playoff Justin Williams.
As long as Williams gives us 70 games and 15 goals, I want him in that locker room, especially come playoff time next year. Blues should make every effort to get this guy signed.

What Tim said. I've been advocating for him to be a Blue forever. He just has that knack for big game scoring and three cups, two recent would give our locker room a wake up call.

You can make fun of Langs and Arnott all you want. But they were on the only team to win a series in the past decade. I would take Williams in a heartbeat.

Eklund must be reading this forum because he's reporting today that the Blues are the favorite to land Williams!
