4The Blues were lucky to have Bobby Plager, and so was St. Louis. RIP
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!
Re: Bobby Plager dies in car accident
6My overriding passion during our Cup winning series, was to win the Cup while Bobby was still around to enjoy it.
Bobby, thanks for all the great memories! You will forever be a legend in Blues hockey! RIP #5 on the jersey, #1 in our hearts!

9Especially with us old bastards, who watched him play for so long, it's a real gut wrencher. Hard to imagine Blues hockey without our #1 cheerleader around. Damn!Turk Sanderson wrote: Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:27 pmWell said barn... 11When you look at that accident it doesn’t look bad...it makes me wonder if he had a heart attack or something which caused the accident. This just hurts ..

13That was my first thought when I saw the KMOV footage. Black 'n' blue arm bands are in order for this one.NHLTIM wrote: Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:55 pm When you look at that accident it doesn’t look bad...it makes me wonder if he had a heart attack or something which caused the accident. 15Now now, the Canadian Government has apologized for Bryan Adams on SEVERAL occasions!
Re: Bobby Plager dies in car accident
16True. As much as I admired Musial and Gibson, their passing didnt hit me nearly as hard as #8 and #5.Turk Sanderson wrote: Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:46 pmNo-one bled blue more than him and Barc....barnburner wrote: Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:42 pmEspecially with us old bastards, who watched him play for so long, it's a real gut wrencher. Those guys were the soul of the Blues. They set tne standard these guys will be trying to reach for years to come. Guess I'll dust off my copy of Tales From The Blues Bench tomorrow and reread it for the umpteenth time.

20Terrible news. But Dread is right, thank goodness he saw that Cup.
Re: Bobby Plager dies in car accident
21Just awful. Absolutely terrible news. I had the opportunity to talk to him a few times, and he was every bit as kind and funny as people often say about him. RIP.
Re: Bobby Plager dies in car accident
22 Sad day for the Plager and Blues family. RIP #5
