Who's ass will Bortz kick first? I'm picking Hoffman.
Re: Blues training camp 2021
4I don't know whose ass Bortz is going to kick but I know whose I'm going to. Kostin is the Blues top prospect currently playing in Russia

9You should've known the last day of 2020 would be your worst of the year, Wes.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!
Re: Blues training camp 2021
10Don't shut it down yet. There's still a Klimmer of hope.
Re: Blues training camp 2021
13I believe it was Timmerman at the Post who stated Klim is suppose to be in camp but is having visa issues.

14Are you sure that wasn't Klimmerman at the Post who stated TIM is suppose to be in camp but is having visa issues?
Re: Blues training camp 2021
17i just hope the whole klim experiment doesn’t end up kostin the blues too much.
Re: Blues training camp 2021
19It has begun.
I think that's an ideal place for Kyrou right now. Blais works as a very good fourth liner. Kyrou does not. Of course its day one session one so take all of this with a forklift full of salt.

This team would be so much better if he'd play with more aggression on a consistent basis.
Re: Blues training camp 2021
22I actually quite like how the forwards are shaping up. Lots of skill and depth in there. Interesting to see that Tucker is playing on the wing.
Re: Blues training camp 2021
23Tucker was on the wing during the RTP practices as well. I think the D is just log jammed right now. I have to admit I like that line with him on the right and Neighbours on the left. That would be some high entertainment value thereratonmono wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2021 11:49 am I actually quite like how the forwards are shaping up. Lots of skill and depth in there. Re: Blues training camp 2021
24Bad morning for Sammy Blais. I'm not sure that second line is going to hold up for Berube. Schwartz is as sturdy defensively as they come, but Thomas is still working on it and Hoffman has never been impressive defensively. They could score a lot of goals, but I could also see them frustrating Chief into a line shuffle in short order.

Re: Blues training camp 2021
25So I am guessing there is a "fifth line" of Blais, MacMac, and DLR for your fill-ins...
Interesting that Clifford is in there over Blais. He had 133 hits in 69 games last year. That's a nice physical presence to add to this lineup.
