Once Upon a time in Hollywood
1Once Upon a time in Hollywood takes a lot of odd turns. A slow burn look at a struggling actor and his stunt buddy...and Sharon Tate...then three people get their skulls caved in within the span of one minute...then a hippie gets burned up by a flame thrower. I've been advocating the importance of personal flame throwing for years, so this was particularly appealing. There was also the odd introduction of a narrator mid way through the movie, which I couldn't tell if it was a parody or the story was that poorly written. I give it one thumb sideways...not good...not bad...not going to watch it again any time soon. I enjoyed it, but it didn't really seem like it had any focus.
