Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
2Absolutely sucks he has to sit out in the Cup win. Just not fair. Hope the guy that fills in scores the Cup winner.

3Damn, another shaky call by George Parros and his trainees
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
4How badly is Johansson injured?
We were told this was a factor in determining the Sundqvist suspension? And now?
Totally political bullshit to appease whining ass Boston.

6When he was hired for that job, I had real positive expectations. Intelligent guy, not a cement head, whom I thought would bring some stability to this process, but it's just as fucked up now, as it's ever been.Turk Sanderson wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 6:23 pmParros... like hiring the fox to guard the hen-house.barnburner wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 6:06 pm Damn, another shaky call by George Parros and his trainees

Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
8I think its the right call. He nailed him in the head.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
9I've always thought the NHL should put Lady Bing winners in that position, not goons. Goons have a distorted view of "player safety".

10Maybe I have selective memory, but I don't recall Parros being a dirty player.barcthespark wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 6:40 pm I've always thought the NHL should put Lady Bing winners in that position, not goons. Goons have a distorted view of "player safety".

Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
12Parros was a fighter, he was not a dirty player. I believe he had a grand total of 0 career suspensions.

Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
14Very true. That's why I had high hopes for him in that job. Parros was a good hockey player who happened to be a hell of a fighter.Dave's a mess wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 9:11 pm Parros was a fighter, he was not a dirty player. I believe he had a grand total of 0 career suspensions.
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
15Whatever. Not worried about the big picture. I just want to know, because it's kind of fun, which well rested guy takes that spot?
Thomas is apparently hurt. Doesn't fit well on that crash bang check line anyhow.
Fabbri? Nah.
Mac Mack? is he healthy?
Nolan? will he be able to keep it on this side of the line?
Kyrou? maybe?
Chief has the last change. He will want to keep putting that line out in the spots he wants. Who fills that spot the best??? Basically who is most like Barbs?
I have a feeling it will be Kyrou, but I wish it would be Mack.

16Barbie was fined for a similar hit in the playoffs so it...kinda males sense (so i read)BluesSK wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 6:10 pm How badly is Johansson injured?

Now now, the Canadian Government has apologized for Bryan Adams on SEVERAL occasions!
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
17IMO he’ll probably go with Fabbri since he’s already played in the playoffs. Same reason he went back to Sanford. Doubt he’ll go to Mack or Nolan now.
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
18In what might be the deciding game of the playoffs, I cannot imagine Chief trusting Kyrou in this situation.39hurricane wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 11:54 pm Whatever. Not worried about the big picture. I just want to know, because it's kind of fun, which well rested guy takes that spot?

Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
19I think he'll move Sammy down and insert Fabbri ,seems logical to me. That is if Thomas is still out, if hes in then the lines would look alot different. Cant see Thomas on a checking line.
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
20I believe Kyrou was marked done for the season due to injury. Obviously the season has gone longer than expected, but I doubt he's recovered. Considering that Fabbri has only sat the last three games and has two in vs Boston, it's 99% likely they just plug him in on the left side with SunnyD and Steen.
This sucks for Barb's, but he'll still be Happy and ready to lift the Cup if they win it tomorrow night!

Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
21Sounds like Nolan might be a real possibility.
I think they've seen enough of Fabbri to start messing around with a bunch of line juggling.

Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
22Barbashev had 86 hits during regular season. The guy has 80 in playoffs. Blues have 4 guys over 60 hits with Barbashev at 80, Schenn 78, Sundqvist 68 and Blais 64. Note Blais has that in only 13 games. Blues will have 6 players with over 50 hits when you add Maroon at 52 and Tarasenko at 48. These Blues are downright heavy.
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
23More important than ANY other lineup decision is ... who's gonna plug in with the Game 6 GDT? The Championship hangs in the balance on this game day decision. May the hockey gods have mercy on the soul of whomever has the steel pucks to take on this sacred task.
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
24if we've only learned one thing this post season, let it be that the blues should pay sunny d and barbie whatever they want when the time comes. the blues' post season goes as far as this incredible fourth line goes. when one is out, we lose.
Re: Put another suspension on the Barbie
25I dont care who does it but somebody please send fucking Marchand into orbit with his own low slew foot play.
