I just copied and pasted the link (did not use the [url]) and all it did was post the link itself and not the twitter post.

did you click "preview" first or just straight to submit?

hm. try wrapping it in the media tag and see if that works:

if i quote you then click preview without changing anything, it works. see below. making it difficult to troubleshoot if it's working for me but not for you. need your help.

This happened when I tried to use the media code and clicked preview:

I think that might be the problem, TC. Is it possible you have this setting turned on only for yourself somehow (maybe set as on for only administrator users or something?)

ok good that helps. i will research. it's not as obvious as a setting, there is a code issue.

i made a few changes, someone please test for me.

When I quote and preview, it looks good now.

Going to put the link in my comment too and see if that works.
