Avs are Fuckn fast. Not really sure if you can even clog the middle on these guys. I’m thinking the Blues are going to have to figure how to pick up their own pace and do a better job of getting the puck in deep and applying the forecheck. Blues need to amp up their own pace if they want to make this a long series.

The Blues won't win playing Colorado's game. They are a puck possession and a physical team. The Blues need to figure out how to hit them without ending up out of position.

Binnington is seeing everything and keeping The Blues in this game, in which they can't skate at all because they haven't had any time to adjust to the altitude and lower oxygen. By Thursday, they should bebetter able to mount an offence. For the rest of this game, they'll have to hope Binnington stays hot, play defence as best they can, and hope they can jump on a few Avalanche miscues and get some odd man rushes and score on them.

The Blues are lucky to only be down 2-1. Their offense is nearly nonexistent. At this point, Binnington and the pipes are the only reason the Blues are still in this game. But, it's the playoffs, so who knows what to expect. Maybe Colorado gets frustrated and the Blues take advantage of it. Maybe the Blues start playing their game and come out on top. Let's also hope that Colorado doesn't step it up a notch in the third.
