Walker a likely scratch in favor of 11F 7D.
Stay cool and beat their asses.

Amazing that Perunovich can sit for a few months, then drop in and quarterback the league's #2 PP in the playoffs without it really missing a beat. Looking forward to what he brings in a full season next year.

In all seriousness though, what's the benefit of it unless you have a case where you have a guy that you don't fully trust at 5 on 5 but can be a specialist i.e Prune? Because with only 11 forwards you are double shifting one of your top forwards.

Looks like the Wild have switched up goalies tonight and Talbot will be between the red pipes

Probably because your forwards are much healthier. Some d-men are nursing injuries, and wouldn't be playing during the regular season. The wild are hitting those guys hard and heavy, while crying about their precious one getting hit. I'd bet that Prunes is still hurting, but he can play PP minutes where there's not a lot of chance he gets creamed. I like this... more minutes for your best forwards.

I get why the Blues are doing it. I was referring to the question why every team doesn’t do it.

I just won my league replay league's championship for the second year in a row! Hopefully that bodes well for the Blues closing out their series tonight, too!

I really hope the Blues wrap it up tonight. They're going to need to be at the top of their game to take out Colorado. I think to get the D-men close to healthy, a day or two of extra rest would be HUGE. I'm just ready for this game to start.

Biggest game of the year again! The Blues need to put this series away tonight! Score early and often, and blow The Wild out early! I like that Talbot is is in goal. He's less consistent than Fleury, and The Blues have battered him.

Hope to see improvement in the PK, but Faulk in the box isn't going to help.

Solid PK. Now let's see what the PP can do.

Good kill by The Blues, and now THEY will be on the power play! Let's score and take an early lead!
