The way The Caps were dominating play early, The Blues are lucky to be tied at the end of the period, and that The Caps were also very sloppy. I hope The Blues kill off the penalty, and use that to gain momentum, and tighten up their game. They're going to have to be better than usual without Tarasenko. But they are so very deep that they can not miss a beat IF they play their "A" game.

Mikkola's played pretty well. He's really starting to break out. All of a sudden the light clicked on, and he's moving up to the next level. A really unsteady development track. Rather fits and starts than steady improvement. But it's very welcomed after having such a slow and modest level of improvement up through the first 20-25 games of this season.
