A more interesting 2nd Period. The Blues need to come out on fire in The 3rd, and build up a 2-goal lead. Lindgren has played really well. Interesting that both he and Husso's recent play have looked better than Binnington's last several games. I hope the rest will allow Binnington to get back to his better playing level.

This whole Covid depletion may be a blessing in disguise for The Blues, who will undoubtedly lose a few points from it, but the NHL experience, and time playing together with NHL-level Blues' teammates, will hep the team later in the season, and possibly in the playoffs by adding extra depth to rest tired players, and fill in better for injured players, because of their familiarity with the way their new teammates play. Considering that many of us felt The Blues had a lot less depth of NHL ready minor league prospects than a lot of other teams, their playing so well has been a very pleasant surprise.

Faulk drives a blisterer towards the net, which may have been tipped in, but too tough to see in live action. In any case, it went in the net, and The Blues take the lead 2-1!!! Lots of cheering from the crowd! Must be a goodly amount of Blues fans there! :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

On the slow-motion replay it looked like it went of Seguin, so Faulk should get the goal. They gave the goal to Joshua.

Nice pass/shot towards the net on a tough angle by Walker, hoping for a deflection off a Star skater, or that a Blue skating in on goal, would knock it in! Walker has been playing really well, too. The Blues have practically their entire Springfield roster trying out either for The Blues' NHL roster, or to be trade bait for a roster spot on another NHL team.

Chief has Walker out defending the lead to secure the win… I guess he’s a keeper.

They might trade one of their back-ups in a package for a solid LD a while before the trade deadline approaches, so the new player can get some time in the Blues' defensive system, and get comfortable with his shiftmates' and other teammates' playing habits.
