I'm not sure which goalie will give up the softie to start the first period but I'm sure it'll be blamed on our poor defense.
Yeah. That lack of intensity out of our goaltenders has driven me nuts all season.
Its getting hard to look forward to a game knowing that the team will invariably start down a goal. ALWAYS CHASING!

Nice to see so many Blues down low fighting for a rebound, including Bortuzzo. Too bad The Blues couldn't punch it in. A relatively poor 1st Period, even though they didn't allow a goal. Like last night, they still are taking too many shots from far out, and not going deep enough of the time and setting screens. They are shooting a little more tonight. Last night they kept passing when they didn't line up a good shot. But, they need to move in deeper, and have at least 2 players without the puck moving towards the net when the pass or shot is just about to happen.

The Blues allow the other team to score first in 8 straight games, and the game before, they led 3-0, but lost anyway, and had a streak of several games giving up the first goal before that. They've got to wins almost all their games now to make sure they even get into the playoffs. They blew the 6 on 5 by not having any skaters without the puck moving at all. They were just standing around on the perimeter. And the player with the puck didn't penetrate in, so they never had a good shot. They'd better score on this power play.
