I don't have many thoughts on this game right now other than the Ducks are clearly the bottom feeder of this division and these are games where you have to win.

Start Husso in net and JB50 on the 4th line grinder role.

Coming into the season I thought Anaheim was the most likely of bottom 4 teams in this division to surprise and steal a playoff spot. They'd just need Gibson to play like he did 2 years ago and the youth to develop. Turns out to win games you need to score a few goals once in a while, which I forgot to factor into things. You live, you learn.

Dakota Johnson added to active roster.

Binnington is not giving up #50 for him.

Some of their kids aren't progressing like Steel and Jones. Got to hit on those draft picks. Ottawa looks like they have................

I thought the Ducks might compete for that 4th spot. The kids just aren’t ready yet. They need to shop a couple of the older guys and continue to add to their rebuild. Zegras and Drysdale will get it turned around for them...just gonna be a couple more years.

Well Anaheim hasn't been drafting nearly as high as Ottawa until the last 2 years. Tough to find sure things when you pick in the mid 20s every year. Zegras just got called up after looking great since his draft day and at WJC. But to your point, they haven't hit on much outside the first round in a long time.

I generally don't trust people that have two first names instead of a first name and a last name. In this case we have a guy with a first name for a last name and a sort of last name for a first name. I might need a ruling on this.

I’m already tired so I doubt I’ll be around for this one tonight.

Husso has an unbelievable knack for giving up a goal on his first or second shot faced

Good news everyone, Husso stopped the first shot on goal again. That's two games in a row baby!

Unfortunately the second went in. 1-0 Ducks.

Jeez Kyrou just accidentally gored a Duck in the face. Not a metaphor for those that can't watch.

That’s a great kill that might change the outcome of this game. Husso came up with some really good saves.

Scandella might be hurt tho. Was slow to get up and off the ice at the end of it

Husso stops a breakaway. Keeping the team in it for now

Husso ruins what would have been the greatest first career goal in NHL history.

I missed that live. Kid might have a future.

Dakota Johnson skates well, doesn’t mind getting in on the forecheck. Not bad so far.

Oh WOW! ROR with a great feed to find Kyrou as he’s going toward the net and Kyrou does a quick little push move, goes to his forehand and ties the game at 1 in the final minute of the first

I'll say what everyone else on this forum is afraid to say: Kyrou is good at hockey.

Iffy goal aside, solid period from the boys. The big guns created a few dangerous chances, and the PK held up on a bad luck 4 minute kill. Husso settled down and looked good after the early goal.
