Huh...well I like the D-pairings. I haven't been impressed with Barbashev at all this year, so hopefully he picks it up with the big guys. Sanford must really be in the doghouse to not get put back on that line.

Losing a good player to Seattle is a good thing because it means you have lots of good players. If it's a replacement level guy like Barbashev we'll have lucked out.

I'm with Chief here. Uninspired is the perfect term. Shit, he has been playing on that 4th line for quite a few years now. I'm even bored seeing him on that line.

Coach basically is saying Barbashev is playing like shit but we're putting him on the first line to get going. Hoffman is heating up and he gets Sanford & Sundqvist You got a 2 game losing streak to the fuck'n Coyotes and we're playing what's my line. Coach is losing it. And if they are trying to showcase Barbashev, well, I think the book is already out on him. Ain't nothing he can do that's going to change his market value.

If a player has the offensive skills and the only regular place for him is on the fourth line then I guess it is.

It's up to him to make the most of the opportunity when he gets a chance to move up.

He can join Sobotka and Jaskin there if he wants to become a top 6 forward by giving a lack of effort

Maybe Clifford is the plug and he's holding Sundqvist and Barbashev back.

I mean...seeing sanford on the top line game after game would make me lose my motivation to play 110% as well...
