BLUES VS. COYOTES
When: Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m.
Where: Enterprise Center
Watch: FOX Sports Midwest, FOX Sports GO
Listen: 101 ESPN, NHL App

Tuesday's game between the St. Louis Blues and Arizona Coyotes will feature 1,400 fans in the stands - the most for a sports event in St. Louis since March 2020. Blues and Enterprise Center officials have worked with the City of St. Louis Department of Health to implement operational changes and health and safety protocols to allow for increased attendance.

"It is really great news," said Blues President & CEO Chris Zimmerman. "It's a reflection of the progress that we're making on many fronts. I'm excited, and I know our players are excited."

During the previous homestand, only 300 guests were allowed at Enterprise Center for games. Those tickets were donated to frontline workers and to the families of Blues players and staff. Beginning this week, the majority of tickets were made available to season ticket holders.

If you're attending games at Enterprise Center, check out the Health and Safety regulations currently in place.

PLAYER TO WATCH
Brayden Schenn , who has points in seven straight games (six goals, four assists). Schenn's streak is tied for the longest in the League this season.

TEAM SNAPSHOTS
BLUES The St. Louis Blues are returning to Enterprise Center from a perfect 3-0 road trip that ended with a weekend sweep of the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center.

On Sunday, the Blues collected their first win in the second game of a division series thanks to a 4-1 victory in Anaheim.

"It's a really good road trip by our team," Head Coach Craig Berube said. "You've got to find ways to win games, and in a shortened season like this, it's really important. We did that this trip."

The win lifted the Blues to first place in the West Division as of Monday with a 6-2-1 record (13 points) in nine games. St. Louis' three-game win streak is currently the best in the division.

COYOTES The Arizona Coyotes are coming off a series split with the Anaheim Ducks but won the most recent meeting 3-2 on Thursday night at Gila River Arena.

Goalie Darcy Kuemper made 14 saves in the win for the Coyotes, who had lost four of their previous five games.

Arizona is 3-4-1 to begin the season.

"There's pressure on all the teams right now," Coyotes Head Coach Rick Tocchet said. "It's a short (56-game) season, so if you lose a couple of games, the heat's right on you. So it was nice to get the win."

Key departures for the Coyotes in the offseason include Taylor Hall, Michael Grabner, Brad Richardson and Vinnie Hinostroza. The front office picked up a key addition though by naming Bill Armstrong as the club's new general manager. Armstrong previously served as the Blues' Assistant GM and Director of Amateur Scouting.

HEAD-TO-HEAD Jordan Binnington recorded his most recent shutout in the last meeting between the Blues and Coyotes on Feb. 20, 2020. Binnington is 2-1-1 with a 0.99 goals-against average and a .949 save-percentage (two shutouts) against Arizona.

Jaden Schwartz has recorded 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) in 22 games against Arizona.

Dating back to 2013, the Blues have points in 11 of 13 games against the Coyotes at Enterprise Center (9-2-2).

I really like how the Faulk deal has worked out. Once Krug settles in our D is going to be pretty solid.

I had a similar thought but about the Senators.

Bring Brady home!

Keep the ball rolling boys. You have to pick up 3 or 4 out of 4 points against these weaker teams in the division every time, because you are bound to split with Vegas and COL on all of these back to backs.
Imagine that lineup with Sanfords name out of the top 6 and Tarasenko's in his place. Damn that is a killer forward group if it all comes together

I totally agree with your post........meanwhile, half the posters in the Asylum want Krug to be exposed in the expansion draft. Solid conclusion after 9 games. Fucking idiots.

Woooo Schenn comes in with a big hit behind the goal. Kind of reminded me of the Oshie Nash hit but not quite as hard

He just looks “lumbering” this season. I know he is apparently injured, but damn, he’s tough to watch these days. Once Bortuzo is back, I wish they would sit Parayko for a couple of games and let him get a little healthier.
