Rutherford reported last night that Schwartz's injury could be fairly long term.
What’s ailing him? To put it plainly, this sucks.

Don't know. They've been pretty tight lipped about it.

Rutherford says he believes Schwartz’s injury is a bulging disk and believes Parayko’s issue is also a back injury.

Nailed it. Honestly the whining about Binnington just shows what a genius move it was on his part.
1. It seemed to fire up the team, who clearly outplayed SJ the rest of the way.
2. It shifted the conversation about him away from how dreadful of a game he had. Now when he kicks ass in his next start he looks even smarter.

I also love that the RESPEKT FOR THE GAME puds are the same ones that yearn for the days when guys literally had sword fights with their sticks.

After watching Ice Guardians a few days ago, it made me realize how much I miss the days of the enforcers. If we would have had a Kelly Chase or Tony Twist a few weeks ago, Stone would still be on the IR.

Pair that with:

Can't really make any trades with the cap situation. Make it work, boys!

Colten Ellis signed today. Him and Joel Hofer could be the tandem in about five years from now.

Was just scanning Cap Friendly and looking at the Blues injuries.

All of these injuries to impending RFAs and UFAs are going to make Armstrong's job really easy or really hard in the next couple of years.

Shit, he didn't have to go overseas to get hurt, he could done that here like a third of our starters did.

He played today and they won their playoff series. So, no Kostin return to St. Louis just yet.

Doesn't mean he's close to returning, but since JR isn't reporting that Schwartz has any missing limbs, I'll take it as good news.

He's even skating on a line!

That's looking more and more like an NHL lineup. Gonna need it with a lot of games against the big boys coming up.
