I met him at a season ticket holder thing way back.....when I was in college, I guess (I think I was paying $10/game for really good seats in the upper bowl!). I remember him being a super nice, humble guy, pretty typical of most players back in the day, especially those Canadian farm boys!

He was a consummate lunch bucket Blues forward. RIP, Ralph.

Just read on HF last night that apparently Fred Hucul, one of the inaugural season Blues, is in poor health. Sadly, with this franchise now being 53 years old, this will become more and more common.
