He is on waivers again
Which could be a sign Tarasenko is coming off IR and cap space is needed.
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
2Just adding a tweet here. Welcome back Tarasenko! Troy, enjoy SA for a month until you get to be a black ace.
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
3Apparently Blues had no interest in taking kids ice time to play Brouwer. It's a shame because he could of been a big boost to bottom 6 IMO but that's the way it goes.
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
4Anybody seen Zach Sanford lately? Does he still play for us?

Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
5Honestly, I am a bit surprised that he didn't stick. I was the head of the FREE TROY BROUWER club. He just seemed like a Berube type player to me. Oh well...
KA-KAW!
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
6Well he got to extend his career by 13 games. I don't share the opinion that he was particularly effective whatsoever this year. That's not a dig, he had a hell of a career.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
7Hitch would have played him till his legs were ground down to nubs.
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
8The trade deadline has come and gone... and the same with Sanford's motivation.NHLTIM wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:54 pm Anybody seen Zach Sanford lately? Does he still play for us?
He did make a couple nice little plays last night to be fair. But I still don't love him as a player.

9I forgot he played for us.MattyIce wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 1:19 pmThe trade deadline has come and gone... and the same with Sanford's motivation.NHLTIM wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:54 pm Anybody seen Zach Sanford lately? Does he still play for us?

Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
10If I was Sanford and I had National Broadcasters touting me as the next great power forward, I would be skating like a mad man to live up to those comments. Not this guy. Total head scratcher this Sanford character.
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
12Same can be asked for DP57, not sure if hes still here either.NHLTIM wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:54 pm Anybody seen Zach Sanford lately? Does he still play for us?
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
13Not sure what these two have to do with the subject but both are ice cold right now and playing on the same line. Tarasenko back soon should hopefully split those two up because you can't have 2 cold players on a line together.
Just a Russian propaganda account
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
14He hasn't scored a PP since January 14, yet hes on the #1 unit sticking up 90 seconds every PP. Hes had 5 goals in the last 25 games, not sure the solution shy of sending Borts after him in practice.
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
16Yeah, David Pay-rone is having a great year. I'm not worried about him. He always plays with tenacity/passion. And he's turned into a leader. Love David Pay-rone
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
17If I'm Sanford and I'm worried about the announcers the only thing they'll be saying about me is that I'm a healthy scratch.BillP. wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 1:32 pm If I was Sanford and I had National Broadcasters touting me as the next great power forward, I would be skating like a mad man to live up to those comments. 18It was Regis... Sanford should probably go get an order of protection.Dave's a mess wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 3:18 pmIf I'm Sanford and I'm worried about the announcers the only thing they'll be saying about me is that I'm a healthy scratch.BillP. wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 1:32 pm If I was Sanford and I had National Broadcasters touting me as the next great power forward, I would be skating like a mad man to live up to those comments. Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
19Sandford and DP57 are just saving it up for the playoffs, right, RIGHT?!
Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
20Yeah, I thought he could be a good fit here down the stretch. But, that's just me.MattyIce wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:57 pm Honestly, I am a bit surprised that he didn't stick. I was the head of the FREE TROY BROUWER club. He just seemed like a Berube type player to me. Oh well...

Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
22Sanford's been fine, look at 57 if you want to see a guy struggling.
Brouwer sucks now he's just this year's Thorburn.

Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
23Sanford did a great job when the team needed someone to step up. If you had told anyone on this board he’d have 15 goals, we all would’ve been very happy. And yet, here we are.ratonmono wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 7:11 pm Sanford's been fine, look at 57 if you want to see a guy struggling.

Re: The Blues have Free'd Troy Brouwer
24He is a Berube type player, no question, he's just got nothing left to offer. No shame in that, he's just done.MattyIce wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:57 pm Honestly, I am a bit surprised that he didn't stick. I was the head of the FREE TROY BROUWER club. As far as other posts.....I'm wondering if Perron isn't hurt and no one is saying anything?
Sanford always seemed like "just a guy" that hot streak was great, but I'm wondering if that wasn't the exception rather than the rule.
