Re: GDT: Blues at Flames 1/28 8 pm
52Absolutely, Blues are not playing well. The call I was referring to with that post was actually the penalty the Flames got called for, was an awful callbarnburner wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:58 pmThere have been some absolutely awful calls, but that doesn't excuse this shit show defensive effort. Lots of effort going to the net, not very much coming back in their end. Where is the structure and discipline that frustrates opponents every stride of the way? Piss poor effort.

53Sanford, on a 3 on 2 makes the right decision, wristing it by the goalie!!!! Blues tie it up at 4!!! Sanford is trying desperately to NOT lose his Top 6 (and even Top 9) spot. Just when lots of Blues' fans thought he'd be replaced when all but Tarasenko are back.

55Holy shit. We had more Blues players in our end than Flames! How did that happen?
Re: GDT: Blues at Flames 1/28 8 pm
59Sanford not holding the top line back at all.
Just a Russian propaganda account

60Guy looks great in wide open ice. Has he won a single puck battle? In his career?Robb_K wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2020 10:03 pm Sanford, on a 3 on 2 makes the right decision, wristing it by the goalie!!!! 61Sanford out-scoring Steen
Now now, the Canadian Government has apologized for Bryan Adams on SEVERAL occasions!
Re: GDT: Blues at Flames 1/28 8 pm
62Sanford has actually played pretty well tonight, excluding that fluke puck over the boards
Re: GDT: Blues at Flames 1/28 8 pm
64NHL.com showed perron scored to make it 5-4 then now its taken back...guess it was the offsides call from a few posts ago...

65He’s playing a very good game and has been pretty consistently good lately.39hurricane wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2020 10:07 pmGuy looks great in wide open ice. Has he won a single puck battle? 66No. He's really not a Blues or Berube-type player. You can be confident that even if Sanford ends up with 15 goals, The Blues aren't going to give up Blais, Sundqvist or even Barbashev to keep HIM. Meantime, while Sundqvist and Tarasenko are out, it's good that Sanford is scoring some goals.39hurricane wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2020 10:07 pmGuy looks great in wide open ice. 71I can’t believe they called a penalty on Perron on what was a delayed offside. I mean what the fuck is that
Re: GDT: Blues at Flames 1/28 8 pm
72Well, at least The Blues survive Perron's OT penalty. But, The Blues haven't been very good in shootouts this season 0-5. So, I'm not terribly confident.
