61Nice save by Binnington on the penalty shot. He's played fine. Too bad The Blues skaters haven't supported him because they've taken the night off from skating, and from playing with purpose. I do realise that they can't bear down for all 82 games, and this isn't a division or conference game. But, it's still a little disappointing, anyway.

63Let's forget this game and move on. You can't beat an NHL team if you don't skate, and play with some energy. A team can't win every game, and can't play hard all 82 games. 67The good news about that game is that we played about as bad as we could have and still scored 4 goals against an elite goalie. I expected us to be slow out of the gate, so I’m not super disappointed. I’m glad it’s the defensive end we seem to be struggling with (which I believe Chief can fix) and not scoring goals.

70This result wasn't all that surprising. They'd been playing a little loose most of the year and a speedy team like the Habs is made for that. I expect them to tighten it up, but really they've probably earned a point or two more than they've deserved so far anyway. Should be interesting to see if Berube makes some changes for the Islanders game. MacMac time?
