What an absurd draft glass.
If you want to see absurd....look at the 3rd round of that draft and focus right on Toby Ducolon

We need to unionize BNF. We deserve better treatment and fair wages.
I think our wages are in line with the market.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!

They should just run this for charity concerning Covid and give it a Tournament Name. Then if people don't play or sit out for testing positive, big deal. Players get paid, the league makes some money, funds get generated for victims/research, and all is good. They really shouldn't have this for the Stanley Cup.

Nice idea, but also a guarantee that you wouldn't get enough players to have a tournament at all. If players aren't getting their name on the Cup, they're not going to risk it/stay away from their homes and family for months. Besides I'm sure the TV networks wouldn't pay full price for hockey that'd be played at all-star game intensity without any of the stars.

So a bunch of the key dates have been set for the conclusion of this season and start of next season...tentatively of course since everything has to be these day.
-Cup Final will end no later than 10/2
-Draft 10/6
-Next season training camp opens 11/17...which seems super early.
-Next season begins 12/1.

Here's a link, which I pretty much included just for the wonderful picture. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/nhl ... nal-draft/

If this season does take off, is there a team in the NHL that can withstand player absences better than the St. Louis Blues? They lose Tarasenko and other players during season yet roll off the best record in Conference. If there was a team built for this virus, it's our St. Louis Blues. Just sayin................

Yeah, I would think he'll be 100% healthy, eager and ready to go. You can tell Petro is fired up by the recent interview he gave and Matty Ice here at work told me this morning that Jake Allen said we got some unfinished business to take care of. I imagine he'll play a part in our Cup run this time around.

Yeah, he'll definitely get a game or two in for the round robin games. Hell, might even see Husso for one of those games. I think teams will treat those are their "preseason"
