1255Oh man I would have loved to been working the door when Barnaby got out of line. Always hated him.

Re: News and Games around the NHL
1257Arguably, every single underdog won last night. Avalanche lost to keep stride with the blues, which is the only one I really care about.

1258NHL has recommended teams close their locker rooms to all media at the guidance of the CDC due to threat on coronavirus
Just a Russian propaganda account

1259Taking a couple of days off from watching hockey so I’m watching MLS tonight. Watching the Sporting KC home opener and what a great atmosphere they have there. It’s a great sports town...it’s a shame they never got another chance at the NHL. I really believe it would thrive in KC.

1262There are very few people in this world that I truly despise. Edwards is one of them. If I could kill him and get away with it... Well Bruins broadcasts would be a lot more bearable.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2020 8:01 pm Let them meet in the playoffs.

1265nah, it's the same tech they've been using to track runners to the thousandth of a second for years.JMC-STL wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2020 4:20 amSensing of that type would require accuracy in the millimeter range. 1266Measuring elapsed time ("runners to the thousandth of a second") and measuring relative position (where is the edge of the puck relative to the blue line or goal line?) are two entirely different problems. I guess I won't be investing in your hugely successful start-up tech firm.T.C. wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2020 8:52 amnah, it's the same tech they've been using to track runners to the thousandth of a second for years.JMC-STL wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2020 4:20 amSensing of that type would require accuracy in the millimeter range. 1267it's still x-sensor crosses y-line and triggers a thing to happen. same tech.
Re: News and Games around the NHL
1268Like I said, hold out for more money. There's at least one reason the NHL hasn't introduced your idea into game play. Maybe it's your team of lawyers.T.C. wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2020 1:49 pmit's still x-sensor crosses y-line and triggers a thing to happen. same tech.

1270How long do we think its going to be until hockey games are being played in empty stadiums? Happening for a lot of soccer leagues in Europe; I'm worried its only a matter of time.

1275That would be so weird to watch a hockey game without fans in the stands.
I mean, how would our boys in blue score on the man advantage without the power play dance to motivate them???
