Maybe this is a subtle message to Oshie and Backes. If nothing else Porter is not going to diminish that line's shut-down ability. He obviously won't create as much offense as Steen, but what's the harm if Steen's offense helps keep Stastny's line hot or even helps make that line even more dangerous...
