I think we need to trade Shatty now. We need another centre to play in our top 6. That upgrade will more than make up for Shatty, IMO

Rarely are defenceman able to make that switch, as it's a different game up there.

He's had a really rough stretch lately. When we get so few PP's like we have been lately, he's a non factor out there.

The Blues are 4th in shots allowed per game played. They're 21st in goals allowed per game played. Our goalies combined SV% is .9013. Last season we were tied for 14-16th in shots allowed, but only 4th in goals allowed. Our combined SV% was .9238 IMHO, goaltending is the major difference so far. We...

Small sample with Hunt, but if he doesn't begin to get exposed defensively, his offensive instincts could possibly replace a good chunk of Shatty's PP production.

Thoughts? I've been impressed so far with his puck movement and positioning. His D obviously leaves something to be desired, but I've been impressed overall. I think he'd be a better fit with Parayko than Shatty though.

So he's got 8pts in 22 games and not great possession numbers compared to the rest of his team.

I loved the guy, but thankfully we didn't sign him for anywhere near that deal.
