Yes! To me, Oshie's departure was almost mandatory, damn the return.
Considering his poor playoff performnances, and the upcoming 3 on 3 o/t probably drastically reducing the number of shootouts, his value was shrinking.
If nothing else, Army just sent a message to the rest of the team.
