Re: Joel Edmundson

I'm pretty high on Edmundson for the most part, and I think he'll be a staple on our blueline for quite some time. He also does fill that sand paper role needed back there. I do find he seems to get hemmed into his own end moreso than other D the last few weeks. That's strictly an eye test, so may b...

Re: Jordan Kyrou update

I think he can go to the AHL on a PTO at the end of the year, assuming his CHL season is over. Not positive, but that's my understanding.

Good to see that progression though

Re: Let's talk Craig Berube

I thought the Flyers gave up on him too soon. Berube will be an NHL head coach. Completely agree. He really does well with youth development, but he'll be back in the NHL soon. Players in Philly really weren't impressed with his game plan. But I'll give him lots of credit for this year. Throw Dunn'...

Re: Hitch fired

I would like to see a stat showing each coach's commitment to line consistency. I have a feeling line juggling is more prevalant than a lot of people think. So, I can't drill it down by coach but I can give you an example. Compare Tarasenko to Ovie. Tarasenko's most common line combination the last...

Re: ICYMI

So would Shatty, our 1st and Kryou be an acceptable deal for Duschene? I'd do it. Sure. Our 1st, and Kryou are "Could be" for the future, and Shatty is going to walk if we don't make a deal. Duschene is a proven commodity. I've got to believe that Colorado can get a better deal for Dusche...

I'd do it.

Re: Washington Capitals

Such a perfectly timed post, haha. 3 goals in 6 games and then they give up 6 goals in the 2nd period last night.

I agree with most of your post overall though, they're a really solid team. I'm just not sure I see them battling through 4 rounds. They're definitely due to prove me wrong though.

Re: Wolves Report from JR

barnburner wrote:I seem to recall Lindbohm being injured at some point. Not sure if that's still the case or not.
He's also really struggled in his own end in his last few callups. He's never shown the form he had in his first stint with the Blues in his rookie year.

Re: WJC's..USA vs Latvia, Canada vs Russia

Any 2017 draft eligible kids in this WJC catching your eye? Nico Hischier of Switzerland has been very impressive. His play has vaulted him into discussion for #1 overall. I think most who know me, always know I favor the North American kid but Hischier has been downright incredible. Yeah, I'm luck...

Chicago Wolves Info

Looking for suggestions on who to follow on Twitter (or elsewhere I can get info) for Chicago Wolves news. I follow the team account and the play-by-play guys account but anyone now any reporters who cover the team?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Classic becomes official

With regard to Pronger, this is on his wiki page "He has not played since November 2011 due to post-concussion syndrome related to three separate hits suffered during his career; he also suffers from vision impairment due to being hit in the eye(s) by the blade of another player's stick" ...

Ville Husso

Recently called up to Chicago and has done the following in his starts: Stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 6-2 win. Stopped 27 of 29 shots in a 5-2 win. Good to see him performing well in the AHL. Binnington was suspended (anyone know why?) so curious what they do with Husso performing well. Had a shutout ...

Re: White Elephant

Laine's incredible but people don't seem to realize that he's not that far ahead of Matthews in production.

Laine - 35GP - 18G & 29pts
Matthews - 31GP - 15G and 24pts.

That's with Laine playing with much better players.
