Re: GDT Game 3: St Louis Blues (1) at Dallas (1) - 7:00 - NBCSN - Mon 4/29

Jed needed to sit...he has zero confidence right now. Bortuzzo’s track record says be will have a good game tonight and that should be good for Dunn. With that said, Dallas is also going to try and exploit those two tonight. I’d rather see Dunn in the top four and move Gunnar down to the 3rd pair. ...

Scoring is the issue

Scoring is the biggest issue here from our forwards: The Blue's lineup: Perron - 26th overall - 3 points. Sundqvist - 81st overall - 3 points. Tarasenko - 16th overall - 2 points. Maroon - 161st overall - 2 points. ROR - 33rd overall - 2 points. Steen - 24th overall - 1 point. Bozak - undrafted - 1 ...

Re: Cautiously optimistic

Dallas doesn't scare me. Bishop gets hurt walking to the team bus. I obviously don't care for Nashville or Winnipeg, and both of them have a lot to prove this year. And both their barns will be buzzing hard during the playoffs. Both are more experienced and will know how to 'turn it on'. Will be up...

Re: Denis Chasse

Who here remembers him when he played with the Blues? I’ve been playing pickup with him this year and he’s a great guy. Told a good story about Hull throwing his helmet at Berry when Chasse was playing his 3rd game in the league. Pretty funny. Said St Louis was his favourite place to play. Fun guy ...

Re: Blues 2019 Trade Deadline thread

That’s fair, but this is the Internet. We either have to already agree or yell at each other for a couple of hours until we are so far off topic that we forget what we originally started with. "That Jayne Mansfield had some big breasts" You know, anyone who could get a jealous side-glance...

Re: Blues 2019 Trade Deadline thread

Blues could use another sniper. When Tarasenko cools off, we’re going to feel it. Honestly - if Schenn / Schwartz and others can't step and help out Tarasenko in that regard, then this team is going nowhere anyway. When Perron returns, you'd have: Schenn / ROR / Tarasenko Schwartz / Bozak / Perron ...

Re: Other NHL Games & News

Oshie gets 500th point tonight. 7th player from the 2005 draft class to do so. Also from 2005, Kris Letang is close, only 14 points away. And I didn't realize it (even though I had him on my fantasy team for a while), but Patric Hornqvist, who was drafted LAST that year (230th overall) could break ...

Re: Schenn nearly traded to Boston

You traded 2 first rounders for this guy who’s worthy of being a core piece and your shopping him? It would have to be a hell of a package. If you know he's going to go to free agency and look for the biggest deal possible, and you know you're priced out of that - yes, you start shopping him. I thi...

Re: Parayko note from tonight's game

I still don't get how there isn't more offense to his game.....the skill is there, it's puzzling for sure. Agreed, if he can translate his elsusiveness that he shows in the D zone to the offensive zone, he should be able to create more. Funny how the hockey mind works differently like that though. ...

Re: Melrose comments on Berube

I think Berube is a good coach - I think people here are clamoring for a guy like Darryl Sutter, which Sutter's tactics are even rougher than Berube's. I think they're cut from the same basic mold. If Berube does get the job, then if I'm him, I tell Armstrong that "I'm bringing in the assistant...

Re: Leafs Acquire Muzzin

I thought he dealt with some injuries the last couple of years, but I haven't paid much attention to him. I know he's been in North America since he was drafted, which is rare for Europeans.
