You have blocked me...I'm sure it was for a really good reason though.
to be fair, he listens to several hours of curt a week. maybe it's contagious.
or I could hang out here more often and read your posts

Re: Blues Podcast

and wow, those "podcasts" are 2-3 hours long?? that's a lot of curt. but it's good? Agreed. The Podcasts can be a little long. I typically listen to about 45 minutes or so. That's when I lose interest and at that point they typically allow listeners to chime in around then. For me 45 minu...

Re: Blues Podcast

The guys who do this cast follow me on Twitter. Please post links any hockey PODcasts you listen to here, so we can discuss them. I am sure I am like most and just not enough time in a day to listen to them all. I have not listened to this particular Podcast since the 1st couple shows whenever it s...

Re: Forbes: NHL Franchise values

They'd probably be more like 10th or 11th if they didn't have their horrible concessions contract left by Checketts, and had the normal City-given tax break(as most other NHL franchises get). That concession contract is not as horrible as some make it out to be. Would they have more cash flow if th...

Re: Pietrangelo

Weill I guess the person who posted that ran into trouble after using all their fingers & toes since that's not an accurate statement. Petro has 20 points Oilers D has 27 points combined So while obviously an exaggeration, you could say.............. Someone can say whatever they want. I really...

Re: Pietrangelo

I'm reading the Oilers fans' GDT on HF from last night. One of their posters pointed out that Petro has more points than their entire D corp. Not sure if that says more about the Oilers or Petro Weill I guess the person who posted that ran into trouble after using all their fingers & toes since...

Re: Pietrangelo

NHL.com is just trying to build equity for later in the season when their hatred of the blues starts showing again. If you haven't already noticed, any commercial they play has a goal against the blues, even if we have arguably the best sniper in the NHL. When is the last time they showed a Vlady g...

Re: Pietrangelo

Interesting stat I saw thanks to @stlblueshistory. Petro has the most ES points of any defensemen in Blues history. 16 more than MacInnis in 53 less games, and 39 more than Pronged in 38 less games. That...puts things into perspective about Petro a bit for me I caught that a little earlier in the s...

Re: Team History

I have no idea why they didn't just give Adam a contract. They did twice. The whiny ass wanted to renegotiate a 3rd time. Mike Shanahan had enough. The final straw was when Oates was named #2 star and failed to come out & acknowledge the fans. He was gone immediately as he should have been.

Re: Blues 2018-2019 talk

... 2) What can we do with the Paul Stastny money if we do not re-sign? ... Well, if City politicians get their way, the Blues may have to use the Stastny $$$ to repaint the concourses bright green & white at TD Ameritrade Center-STL. social-profile[1].png Well.... I sure hope they don't waste ...

Re: JR leaving the PD

I think Timmerman would do a fine job. I know some didn't care for him, but I really liked Dan O'Neill. He knew his history and added enough humor to make each story interesting. O'Neil wasn't my favorite. Of course he retired from the Post several months ago and is currently working on a coffee ta...

Yes, as well as for the Sun and had pieces in the Blues programs as well.

Re: JR leaving the PD

Tim B....do you have a list of all the Blues offical beat writers since Mueller? I believe the main Blues Beat writers for the Post were... Wally Cross Gary Mueller Ron Cobb Tom Wheatley Dave Leucking Derrick Goold JR TBA Of course others who wrote quite a bit were Gordon, Timmermann & O'Neil I...

Re: JR leaving the PD

My context was limited to the coverage provided in the PD. When Goold came here, he started the Morning Skate, and the weekly chats, both significant additions to the coverage provided by the beatwriter. JR recognized a good thing, and continued on with them. Gary Mueller did write for the Post. Of...

Re: JR leaving the PD

I'm certainly no authority on how much J.R. does or does not know about hockey, but the last two beatwriters, Derrick Goold and J.R. were both baseball guys. Despite that, those two imo, have given us more and better Blues coverage than we have ever had from the PD. Whatever his new gig, I wish J.R...
