Re: Blues Assistant Coach Watch

Is it a foregone conclusion that Chris Pronger would be a good coach? Also, does his contract with Arizona allow him to coach? Well contrary to popular belief, a lot of people said that Brad Shaw was a good coach...On Pronger's contract, he's in his last year of that deal, and is working for the DP...

Oh yeah? Well you just tell Pete DeBoer that, Mister Smartie Pants.
Look where it got him...one loss away from blowing it.
Hitch didn't cry, and where did it get him?

Re: Sharks a whining

I got home late, and just caught the last couple minutes of OT last night. Just prior to the GWG by the Sharks, did anyone notice Thornton behind the Penguins net ...one hand on the stick, the other draped totally over the Penguins player's shoulder... hanging on for dear life? I just gotta say, tha...

Re: Hitch is back

The one year deals are not very appealing to Hitchcock's staff. I don't blame them either. Why would you want to stay for one year knowing you'll most likely be fired by the new coach? Shaw refused the one year deal Muller refused the one year deal Ayotte refused the one year deal Can someone pleas...

Re: Hitch is back

I think these changes are a good thing. Hopefully, Hitch can find some younger, innovative guys to mold and work with as a team. No offense, but I don't want Hitch molding anyone. I honestly wonder how much of what we disliked in Hitch's gameplan and the execution was his 'fault' and how much...

Re: Now what?

Really wish this were the case. Jaybo has a full NTC. Would Jaybo waive to go to Edmonton? He's from there...When that team gets their shit straight, they're gonna be a force. Seems like a great match to me. while i love the idea, them "getting their shit together" and trading for Jbo see...

Re: Now what?

I remember Edmonton having interest in Bergy a few years back, but they now have a new GM. And that trade would be likely if you took of RNH altogether and probably swapped Berglund for a prospect. I really hope at least that the team is looking at trading for #4 overall because it's completely doa...

Put Scott Stevens or Prongs in that spot, and now we're talkin'

Re: Hitch is back

And there it is... Lou Korac ‏@lkorac10 3m3 minutes ago Hitch said 2016-17 will be his last as NHL coach. #stlblues And also... Jeremy Rutherford ‏@jprutherford 52s52 seconds ago St Louis, MO Army has offered assistants one year contracts. Shaw is not coming back. Army reads BNF! Ya-hoo Mountain Dew!
