what about this; regulation 3 pts for a win 0 pts for a loss. In OT 2 pts for a win and 1 pt for a loss. In a shoot out, 2 pts for a win and 0 pts for a loss. We're back to some games being worth 2 points and some worth 3 but at least you are rewarded for winning a hockey game and punished for goin...
