Correction. Collin Wilson to Colorado trade not Matt to Nashville. Guy actually stepped off set to take a phone call to get it right.

No thank you. We already have our share of gritty, low scoring forwards. We don't need another one.

Re: Panger out?

Oh, and thanks storey. Yeah if they don't bring panger back I think it'd be a yuuuuge mistake. I could see fsmw trying to replace him with Andy Strickland or someone else like him who has the personality of a door knob. Strickland replacing Panger? As horrific as it seems, considering Strick's trac...

Coincidence, not me being an ass. But for the record, I've been told on multiple occasions that I am, in fact, an ass. Take it for what it's worth.

Re: Panger out?

I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but I enjoy him. I am not a JK fan at all so he balances that out. Kelly and Federko back again would be extremely difficult to tolerate. I'd rather listen to two drunk guys in a bar discuss who's metaphorical dick is bigger all game. Also, pretty shitty on Fox...

Re: 2017 NHL FA/Trade talk

Parayko article from THN: http://www.thehockeynews.com/news/article/parayko-s-looking-for-a-payday-from-blues-and-he-would-be-worth-every-penny What would everyone be comfortable giving Parayko on an 8 year deal, if we try and max out the term like this article suggests? I think 6M would be around ...

Re: Thoughts on Scott Hartnell

Haven't really seen him play the last couple of years. How are his wheels? I really have no desire to try to plug in anyone in our Top 9 that doesn't have at least average speed unless they bring A LOT of finish to the table. I haven't seen him play much over the last 5 years. I just remember being...

According to Cap Friendly that leaves the Blues with $10,805,833 in cap space and we have 18 of 23 roster spots signed. Not a bad deal, but not the signing I was hoping to hear about.

Thoughts on Scott Hartnell

Since Columbus bought out his contract, is he worth taking a flyer on (no pun intended, really)? I've been a fan of his from his Philly days when I was living just outside of Philly and got to watch him a lot. He has some of the edge that Ott had like the ability to get under the opposition's skin, ...

Re: 2017 NHL FA/Trade talk

From USA today piece. 4. Center Joe Thornton: It’s still possible Thornton, 37, will return to San Jose, but the Sharks have opened the door to his possible departure by allowing him to talk to other teams. His numbers were down last season, but he still had 43 assists and 50 points in 79 games. Th...

Re: 2017 NHL Draft talk

NHLTIM (or anyone else that might know) I seem to remember hearing Kostin has/had some baggage, not injury related. What was it exactly? Hell, I could be completely off base, but I thought it was Kostin.

Any information would be appreciated. I really don't follow much hockey outside the NHL.

Re: 2017 NHL Draft talk

How much salary did the Blues save by getting rid of Perron and Lehtera and getting Schenn? This year: Lehtera $4.7 mil Perron $3.75 mil Schenn $5.0 mil so a savings of almost $3.5 mil Next year: Lehtera $5.0 mil Perron UFA Schenn $5.0 mil So a wash there (assuming we wouldn't re-sign Perron). Then...

Re: Hossa won't play in 17-18

Just in case anyone is wondering, Hossa won't retire. It's either LTIR or trade. If he retires, here is what the cap hit is for Chicago: Screen_Shot_2016-03-09_at_10.00.09_AM.0.png Ok, that's a small picture. If you don't want to click on it to enlarge it, his cap hit if he retires before the end of...
