Re: GDT Blues vs. Vancouver Canucks 9PM @ Rogers Arena Vancouver B.C. FSMW - FSGO - KMOX - NHL APP

Berglund on pace for 17 goals in 58 games this year. Stretch that pace into 82 games and that would give him 24, which is right on cue with last year's number. Just sayin............ His career pace is 20 goals/82 games, and that includes a couple of sub-par seasons when he was playing with an inju...

Re: Crisis on Mid-season!

If we still had Fabbri on a pace for nearly 20 goals and 40+ points, Berglund for the full season (with 4 goals in 13 games, he's on a 25-goal/season clip so far!), and a healthy Steen (Not expecting 30 goals again, but he should certainly be scoring more), I think we're much better off. Anything Sa...

Outside of the top line nobody on this team can manufacture a shot to save their lives.
Actually, Sobotka, Schenn, and Tarasenko only had one shot apiece tonight. Vince Dunn had 5.

Re: Steen vs Perron

Perron's having a career year, getting top-line ice time (#2 ES ATOI among Vegas forwards), PP time (#1 PP ATOI among Vegas forwards), and few or no defensive responsibilities (insignificant SH ATOI). He's scoring at a pace almost that's 67% above his career NHL scoring pace (1.00 pt/game this seaso...

Re: Tage Thompson re-called

Here are the lines today at practice, per Thomas: Sobotka-Schenn-Tarasenko Steen-Stastny-Thompson Paajarvi-Berglund-Barbashev Upshall-Brodziak-Jaskin I'm good with that, although I'd prefer Paajarvi scratched. In favor of whom? Sundqvist? Thorburn? If you're looking for potential scoring, or settin...

It's not really that hard. We've been doing it for years!

Re: MPS

He's definitely taken a step back. Last year he had 8 goals and 5 assists in 32 games. For a mostly third line player, that's a 20 goal pace over a full season. THIS year, he's got 2 goals and 2 assists in 31 games so far.

Okay, that's enough silver linings.
3 goals in 9 games so far, not a bad pace.

Re: Shattenkirk is delusional...

I really wish got a return for an $8mil player, but we got a return that actually warranted what we gave up. I am not against Shatty. I am against a culture that will pay top money to a player who says he is working towards being a top player. I don't think his game is going to change significantly...

Re: GDT: Tampa vs Blues 7pm CST, NBCSN

I like the Blues chances in a seven game series with Tampa if they have a relatively healthy team. If we're in a 7 game series with Tampa, that means we've made it to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in 47 years. I don't think we can do it without everyone being healthy, though, and a sign...
