I don't know. I mean the hope is McDavid becomes Crosby, but Crosby already is Crosby and he's only 28 I believe.

I think you're off, but not by much compared to a lot of the proposals I've seen. I think it would require one established elite player plus a prospect load similar to what you have. This series really reminds me of the Blues-Nucks series back in '09 or '10. Blues made a run to get in when no one expected them to, and it lead to a very close series even though the out come of the series (sweep in the Blues case) made it seem like it wasn't close.

I don't think we have to do anything but I think it would be smart to trade him. There will be cheaper backup options available I would think, and also if we are assuming he will be a backup moving forward his trade value is going to be highest now coming off a season where he was essentially a star...

Hopefully I'm not too early on this...but it appears we finally have a goalie up to the hype.

Calm, cool, collected in the playoffs. Coming up with big saves and was a little lucky on some bounces. What more can we ask for?
