I don't know that Philadelphia will do something stupid, but I think they need a rebuild, and if they go into full rebuild mode, Armstrong needs to be on that. Giroux, Simmonds, and Voracek are some very talented players that could 100% help the Blues.

In order to get Giroux, there would need to be a lot more salary moved than just Shattenkirk. Berglund or Lehtera would have to go as well, Berglund being the more likely one. I would love Giroux over Simmonds because the Blues NEED a center.

I would swap Berglund or Lehtera to a wing for now and let Barbs stay at center. This is more to see what he can continue to improve on as a center at the NHL level. Could he become the Berglund replacement?
