I’m guessing you always grossly exaggerate to make a point?
Feeling blessed to have a fan like you, honestly.
It’s funny because I wondered if the “hoax” people would finally acknowledge that this virus was a real threat.

Guess I have my answer.

Re: CORONAVIRUS [was: League Watch 2020]

0.0033% of New York has been infected...its everywhere!!!! I’m guessing you always grossly exaggerate to make a point? Feeling blessed to have a fan like you, honestly. Re: CORONAVIRUS [was: League Watch 2020]

You gotta love modern Republicans...all against government handouts when its buying a kid an apple or trying to lower the price of healthcare...but if some rich ass people in the cruise industry might have to dig into their own pockets to keep their business afloat...that is too far...they need a b...

Re: Best Blues Jersey

The Blues don't have a lot of differentiation in their colors and designs over the years. For me it will always be the 89'-94' versions, this is the most vibrant blue the team has used and the gold bands tie everything together nicely. After this I would pick the current heritage uniforms. The curr...

Re: Hockey is for everyone

Well...I agree about the "Hockey isn't for everyone" but I think you and I would be talking about that on two different scenarios. In your scenario above though, and I'm talking about the local hockey scene here where many former Blues are involved. If a kid is good enough to play on thos...

Re: Hockey is for everyone

But seriously...hockey isn't for everyone. If you weren't born in January or your parents can't afford to have you on a travel team....then you are SOL. Well...I agree about the "Hockey isn't for everyone" but I think you and I would be talking about that on two different scenarios. In yo...

Re: League Watch 2020

This is wild.

If the remainder of the regular season is canceled, how would the NHL qualify playoff teams (assuming the playoffs would still be held in a month or so)?

Would they go by points percentage, since not all teams have played an equal amount of games?

Re: News and Games around the NHL

Ovechkin...great player , plays the game with passion...love everything about him. When he lifted the Cup in 2018, there was nobody I was more happier for than anybody else I’ve watched lift the cup in my life. Watching Ovie lift the Cup was pretty great. He might literally be the happiest guy to e...

Re: Best in the West....

For the first time in my life, the Blues seem like legit favorites to win the cup, and it’s awesome. Even though they won it last year, the Blues weren’t the consensus choice to win any series throughout their run, with maybe the exception of Dallas (which, oddly, turned out to be their closest seri...

Re: John Shannon: Blues and Arizona at top of Hall sweepstakes

Somebody check on Tim when its announced that Dunn is going the other way. But seriously, even if the Blues don't get him, what does that offer look like. Army for ROR for a first, a solid prospect and 2 bottom 6 players. ROR's value was diminished because he had the audacity to say he hated losing...

Re: News and Games around the NHL

Some history you have there Vancouver. https://twitter.com/Sportsnet/status/1202067788849975297?s=19 Had to check his stats to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. He was a four time 20-goal scorer. Played over 800 games with Vancouver and averaged a little under half a point a game. For comparison...

Re: News and Games around the NHL

They do look great...I still prefer the green and blue though. They just need to go back to their original logo. Maybe the skate logo on the green and blue's and they could have a hybrid jersey of both. Blue, green, yellow, black, orange jersey works for me. That would define Vancouver. Was talking...

Re: 2019-2020 St. Louis Blues

They better only have one inductee a year. Pool would get thin pretty quickly. Problem is, if you just select one a year, some of the potential inductees are going to die first. I'd think maybe two a year. If we run out of qualified candidates, then we go a year or two with no inductees. Don't have...

His enthusiasm for poppy wearing is a bit over the top, but not troublesome in-and-of-itself.

His need to single out immigrants specifically was a little weird, though.

Edit: fixed autocorrect typo

Re: Blues trade Fabbri

His hair was just too beautiful for this world. Any insights on the new guy? His regular and fancy stats are both pretty brutal, but he's played on some pretty bad teams. Sucks to think that the player that Fabbri used to be (and could have been) ended up being traded for what appears to be a spare...

Re: FTP: Justin Faulk trade

Interesting how they view him as a '3rd line Dman" and that their PP will be better without him. Yet, his stat's say otherwise. Then again, we never appreciated Petro or Parayko as much as other fans do until they raised the Cup this summer so I'll take their POV with a grain of salt. We basic...

I bet you are a lot of fun at parties Scruffy. Very cool.
Ha. My original post was about how people are overly negative about these things (a bad bounce, an ugly jersey). Not sure why this got you all riled up...

Re: Clown Suits Are Back

The best player ever to play the game. Ever. Couldn't come up with a 50/50 puck. Stevie Y made him look like a washed up 3rd liner. And we lost the series on that play. Those jerseys are ugly. You’ve changed from ‘Gretzky dangled and was stripped’ to ‘couldn’t come up with a 50/50 puck.’ Still wron...

Re: Clown Suits Are Back

Wow. I don't even know what to say. This jersey has so many good and bad memories. Hull and Gretz together. The best playmaker and the best pure scorer together. The cup was ours. They just had to play at 80% of their potential. Then the Wings. Game 7. 99 dangles through center ice . 19 strips. Mur...

Re: Blues summer 2019 Cup tour

Jake Allen has the cup today. That's a sentence I 100% knew I'd type out someday. Ha! Right there with ya. Maybe he was just being a good teammate, but, at the Q & A on Sunday, Petro spoke very highly of Jake, saying that the team played like dogshit (paraphrasing here) in front of him ea...
